Mike Mycock was born 1936 in Buxton, UK. He died Hove in 1994. He studied at St Alban`s College of Art, exhibiting at the Treadwell Gallery from 1969 till 1990. The blond faceless model in much of his work of the sixties and seventies was his wife Janet. He meant the faceless figure to represent women in general, rather than a specific woman.
